Super 8 is a 2011 American science fiction film in which JJ Abrams and Steven Spielberg teamed up to one of summer's biggest movies. written and directed by JJ Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg. Film star Joel Courtney, Elle Fanning, and Kyle Chandler and was released on June 10, 2011] in conventional theaters and IMAX. The story is about a group of kids who do their own shooting Super 8 movies when the train derails, releasing dangerous presence to their city. The film was filmed in Weirton, West Virginia and surrounding areas.

Alice steals his father's car and took Joe, Charles, Preston (Zach Mills), Martin (Gabriel Basso), and Cary (Ryan Lee) to the old train station to do a shooting for the film scenes. During shooting, the witness Joe's pick-up trucks drive into the track towards an approaching train, which caused a large derailment. Recovered from the accident, the children discover the wreck is full of a strange white rock. Children approach the truck and found Dr. Woodward (Glynn Turman), their biology teacher, behind the wheel of a truck. He ordered them to never talk about what they see, if not, they and their parents will be killed, a threat posed Dr. Woodward.

They found an underground lair near a stranger in the cemetery where his mother is buried, along with dozens of missing persons who have been trapped there by the aliens. In the nest, they discover that the aliens were using electronic lost city to make an electromagnet around the base of the water tower. Joe managed to save Alice, but as they make their escape, aliens grabbed Joe, which tells the creature that can still be alive. Alien, through his telepathic tactile ability, understand and release Joe. Shortly after that, all loose stones and metals from around the city are attracted to the water tower. The cubes begin to align and the ship began to take form around the town water tower. Joe metal pendant, a gift given to her by her father, also sucked up and, after a while, he decided to let it go. After this, it complements the pendant watches the pile and everyone as the ship takes off into space.
